
Province of Kent

On the 24th of February 2025 five knights from Kent landed on Jersey and were meet by R.W.Bro. Timothy Dallas-Chapman PGM of Jersey and W.Bro Bernard Le Claire at the airport and transferred to Royal Jersey Golf Club for a hearty breakfast.
That evening the Knights from Kent visit the only French speaking Craft Lodge in the English constitution. La Loge La Cesareāe No.590 at the Jersey Masonic Centre St. Helier. Where they experienced a very enjoyable French language Installation ceremony with the PGM of Jersey in attendance.
The next day the Kent Knights toured the island visiting many interesting sites including German gun emplacements and Mont Orgueil Castle where there were many interesting metal sculptures.
On Thursday evening the Kent Knights visited St. Helier Preceptory No.280 where the Eminent Preceptor E.Kt. Timothy Dallas-Chapman installed a Knight into the order in an excellent manner.
Afterwards at the Refectory the Eminent Preceptor passed a three handled loving cup to the knight to his left and took a drink of Madeira then passing to the next Knight until it returned to the Eminent Preceptor.
The Eminent Preceptor kindly presented a book on Masonry in Jersey to the visiting Kent Knights. R.E.Kt David Jordan in response presented a Knight Templar statue holding a firing sword to the Eminent Preceptor and brother Knights of the Preceptory.
The Kent Knights really enjoyed their stay in the beautiful Island of Jersey and flew back home to Kent in the morning.
